Florianne Remme

Florianne Remme, cello (Bolsward, The Netherlands), was admitted to the Young Talent Division of the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen, The Netherlands, and continued her studies with Lucia Swarts at the Young Talent School of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She is currently studying with Jeroen Reuling at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, Belgium. Florianne has won prizes in several competitions in The Netherlands, and attended summer courses in and outside her country. She participated in masterclasses with Gary Hoffman, Paul Katz, and Frans Helmerson. Florianne plays on a cello made by Thomas Bertrand, kindly given on loan by the Foundation Strings for Talent in Belgium, with a bow made by J.J. Martin provided by The Dutch National Instrument Foundation.
