Rosie Gallagher

Rosie Gallagher, flute (Sydney, Australia), has performed under renowned conductors at Carnegie Hall, Royal Festival Hall, and Alice Tully Hall. She made her solo debut in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall as a first-prize winner of the Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition. She has performed with the 21c Festival of Contemporary Music, Heartbeat Opera, Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and Ensemble Connnect, a program of Carnegie Hall and the Weill Music Institute. As part of her fellowship with Ensemble Connect, Rosie taught at Grover Cleveland High School in Queens. Rosie received a B.M. from the Juilliard School and a M.M. from the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Michael Cox and Robert Langiven. Previous Yellow Barn musician (2017-2019)
