Sory Park

Sory Park, violin (Gwangju, South Korea), is currently pursuing a B.M degree at New England Conservatory with Soovin Kim. Previously, she attended the Yewon Arts School and subsequently entered the Seoul Arts High School with honors. Recently, she won the third prize at Stulberg International String Competition, and has also won prizes at the Ewha & Kyunghyang Concours, Strad Competition of Korea, Ilona Feher International Violin Competition in Hungary, and Segye Times Music Competition. Sory has performed in masterclasses given by Aaron Rosand, Ani Kavafian, Sheryl Staples, Amy Schwartz Moretti, Bella Hristova, and Mimi Zweig, and she has participated in the Young Performers Program of  Music@Menlo, Heifetz Music Institute, and Summit Music Festival. She has appeared as a soloist with the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, and has performed in chamber music concerts presented by NEC, Taekwang Group, and the Yewon School Alumni Association.
