Yun Janice Lu

Yun Janice Lu, piano (Taiwan), garnered considerable attention as one of the semi-finalists at the prestigious Geneva International Music Competition in Switzerland. Her victory at the PianoTexas Young Artists Concerto Competition resulted in a performance with Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Lio Kuokman that brought rave reviews from critics praising that “she captured Liszt’s style,” and "took full advantage of the fireworks.” she was frequently invited to perform at numerous renowned music festivals, including Academie Internationale d’Ete de Nice, PianoTexas Festival, PianoFest in the Hamptons, and Music Academy of the West. In 2017, she is honored to be prominently featured in “MusikOnline” magazine in Taiwan, also in the “Orange County Register” in California. An avid chamber musician, she performs consistently at concert series, including Four Season Chamber Music Festival, Taos Chamber Music Festival, Chamber Music Evergreen in Colorado, and Music@Menlo Chamber Music Festival. Currently, she is a full-scholarship recipient pursuing a Master of Musical Arts degree under the tutelage of Wei-Yi Yang at the Yale School of Music.
