Abigail Sin

Abigail Sin, piano (Singapore), has performed in venues across Asia, Europe and North America as a concerto soloist, collaborative musician, and solo recitalist. She is the co-founder of the More Than Music concert series in Singapore. In 2020, More Than Music recorded the complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas, along with educational outreach content. Abigail studied with PThomas Hecht at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, winning the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal, and with Joan Havill at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she was awarded the Ivan Sutton Chamber Music Award and Romantic Piano Prize. She has attended the Verbier Festival Academy and the Four Seasons Winter Workshop. Abigail completed a PhD at the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Christopher Elton and Briony Cox-Williams. Abigail is currently on the faculty of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore. Previous Yellow Barn Musician (2016, 2017)
