Lisa Sung

Lisa Sung, viola (Sydney, Australia), has appeared as a concerto soloist at the Sydney Opera House, and has played live on WQXR, Medici TV, and Sydney radio broadcasts. She is a guest musician with the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. She has performed alongside world-renowned artists including Catherine Cho, Mark Kaplan, Joel Krosnick, Joseph Lin, and Paul Neubauer. Her festival appearances include the Verbier Festival Academy, Music@Menlo International Program, Perlman Chamber Workshop, Taos School of Music, Lac Léman Music Masterclass, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, and IMS Prussia Cove. Lisa is currently pursuing her Graduate Diploma at the New England Conservatory with Kim Kashkashian on a Dean’s Scholarship. She earned her B.M. and M.M. degrees from the Juilliard School where she studied with Paul Neubauer and Cynthia Phelps on a Kovner Fellowship.
