
Alexander Mansour, cello (Stevenson Ranch, CA), is a junior at Chaminade College Preparatory. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and as soloist with Santa Clarita Symphony and San Fernando Symphony Orchestra. Alex’s compositions have been finalists in ASCAP’s Morton Gould Young Composer and Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers competitions, featured in the Young Musicians Foundation Chamber Music Series, at MTAC State Conventions, and in multiple Daniel Pearl World Music Days concerts. As an avid chamber musician, Alex has toured Austria while studying at the Mozarteum and was a semi-finalist at the 2013 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
