Arcan İsenkul, viola (Ankara, Turkey), started his music education in 2014 at the Bilkent University Music Preparatory School in Ece Akyol's viola class. In 2023, he graduated from the same school in Cavid Cafer's class. Between 2017-2019 he participated in the Luzerne Music Center in the USA. During this time, he took solo, orchestra and chamber music lessons and took part in concerts. In 2018, he won the Concerto Competition and performed as a soloist with the festival orchestra. He has appeared as a soloist with the Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra, Başkent Chamber Orchestra and Aurora Chamber Orchestra. He was chosen as one of the six composers to take part in the MATA Jr. His piece “Heves” was performed by the Bergamot Quartet in Brooklyn, New York. He participated in festivals including the Verbier Festival (Switzerland) and the Schwetzingen Festival (Germany). In May 2024, he gave chamber music concerts with the Concertgebouworkest Young participants in Amsterdam. He has taken masterclasses from Amihai Grosz, Tatjana Masurenko, and Lise Berthaud, among others. Since 2023, he has been studying at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with Tabea Zimmermann.
