Danielle Wiebe, viola (London, Ontario, Canada), has worked with esteemed artists such as Lynn Harrell, Roberto and Andres Diaz, Andres Cardenes, Cho-Liang Lin, James Ehnes, and Ian Swensen, among others, in both chamber music and solo settings. Recently, Danielle has participated in programs such as the New York String Orchestra Seminar, Music Academy of the West, the Sarasota Music Festival, and Tanglewood Music Center. She won third place in the nation-wide Canadian Music Competition and the Sphinx competition for ethnic minorities, first place in both the Calgary Concerto Competition and the Calgary Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, and has been a finalist in the Music Academy of the West and Yale University concerto competitions. Danielle studied with Kim Kashkashian at New England Conservatory (BM) and also holds a degree fromYale University (MM). She will begin a doctoral program at Yale in September 2015.
