Natasha Wipfler-Kim, violin (New York, NY), began playing violin at the age of four, and currently studies with Sunghae Anna Lim at Princeton University. She has won prizes in competitions including the Kaufman Music Center Concerto Competition, the Camerata Artists International Concerto Competition, and the Vivo International Music Competition. Natasha is a member of the Princeton University Orchestra and Opus Chamber Music Princeton. A former member of the New York Youth Symphony Chamber music program, her chamber groups have won several top prizes and distinctions including the 2023 NYYS Director’s Prize for Commitment and Achievement and a gold medal at the 2022 Coltman Chamber Music Competition. Her chamber performances have aired on KMFA radio in Austin, Texas and on WQXR in New York. Natasha has been selected for masterclasses with Almita Vamos, Masao Kawaski, Catherine Cho, Patinka Kopec, Joseph Silverstein, and Jinjoo Cho. Her chamber groups have played in masterclasses with Ani Kavafian, Orli Shaham, Astrid Schween, Hsin-Yun Huang, Wolfram Koessel, Rebecca Fischer, Mari Sato, Jean-Michel Fonteneau, and Peter Salaff. Natasha has been selected to perform in the Merkin Concert Hall numerous times, and has also performed in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walters Auditorium.
