Noah Koh

Noah Koh, cello (New York, NY), began cello lessons at the Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at the Aaron Copland School of Music in Queens College after studying violin for two years. He continued his studies at the Juilliard Pre­College Program and has been recently accepted into the Juilliard School, where he will pursue his bachelor's degree. He has spent summers at the C.W. Post Chamber Music Festival, Luzerne Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival. Noah is a scholarship student at Juilliard Pre­College and has won the Tilles Scholar Award. He was finalist in the 2012 Caprio Young Artists Competition. Noah plays a cello made by A.Klein, on loan from the Chi­Mei Foundation in Taiwan. His teachers include Ruth Guideri, Clara Yang, Clara Lee Rous, Bonnie Hampton, Andre Emelianoff, Troy Chang, Gloria DePasquale, David Ying and Darrett Adkins.
