Zanipolo Lewis, cello (Burlington, VT), currently studies under Yeesun Kim of the Borromeo String Quartet at the New England Conservatory in Boston. Zani began playing cello at the age of three and instantly fell in love with the instrument. Originally from Vermont, he furthered his musical studies in New York and New Hampshire before moving to Massachusetts in 2022 to study at NEC. He is a devoted soloist and chamber musician and plays on a loaner 1972 Joseph Puskas cello awarded to him by the Carlsen Cello Foundation. Previous Young Artists Program participant (2023)
