Laura Strickling, soprano, and Liza Stepanova, piano, began their collaboration in 2011, and have performed concerts and recitals in New York, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, and London, England. In 2013, they  were awarded the Liszt Prize and First Prize in the Duo Division at the Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition, and have since gone on to study and perform Liszt’s song output extensively, presenting lectures and programs at the 2014 and 2015 annual meetings of the American Liszt Society at James Madison University and the University of North Texas. They are devoted to promoting song repertoire and vocal chamber music.
