Juliette Roos, violin (London, England), has enjoyed chamber and solo performances in prominent locations such as the Barbican Concert Hall, Canterbury Cathedral, and Odessa Opera House, and participated in IMS Prussia Cove and the Four Seasons festival. Multi-prize winner in the Kloster Schontal violin competition, prize winner in the Royal Overseas League competition, and string finalist and winner of the Walter Todd’s Bursary Award at the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, Juliette is currently participating in a fellowship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of David Takeno. After graduating from the Yehudi Menuhin School, she received her BM at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne with professor Pavel Vernikov. Juliette has been awarded bursaries from the ESU Musicians Award, Countess of Munster Trust, and the Manoug Parikian award from Help Musicians UK. She has performed concertos with the Odessa Opera House Orchestra, City of Southampton Orchestra, and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra. Recent highlights include a live Radio 3 broadcast of the Antoine piano quartet, as well as a performance in the celebration of Hans Keller at the Wigmore Hall with her quartet.
