Sein Lee, cello (Seoul, South Korea), was a Kumho Prodigy and gave her debut recital at Kumho Arts Hall. She has appeared at Festival Owon, where she toured throughout France with Trio Owon, the Seoul Spring Festival, Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival Winter Workshop, and Casalmaggiore Music Festival. She has also participated in the Seiji Ozawa Academy several times, and frequently performs with the Asian Philharmonic under the baton of Myung-Whun Chung. She has performed in chamber ensembles with Ida Kavafian, Donald Weilerstein, Roger Tapping, Connie Shih, and Dongsuk Kang. Sein received her BM and MM from Yonsei University in Seoul where she was a two-time winner of the concerto competition and received a certificate from the Royal Academy of Music. She is currently a student at the Yale School of Music, where she studies with Paul Watkins. Previous Yellow Barn musician (2018)
