Anuschka Cidlinsky, viola (Eggenfelden, Germany) studied with Thomas Riebl at the Mozarteum Salzburg, Jean Sulem at the Conservatoire de Paris and Nobuko Imai at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As violist of the Javus Quartet, she has been awarded with numerous prizes and studied with members of the Hagen Quartet and Günter Pichler at the Reina Sofia in Madrid. Highlights of their 2023/4 season include concerts at Musikverein Wien, Konzerthaus Wien, Stiftung Mozarteum, Mozartwoche Salzburg and radio broadcasts on Austrian radio ORF. Her playing has been particularly influenced by Eberhardt Feltz, Lukas Hagen, Tabea Zimmermann, Hatto Beyerle and Hariolf Schlichtig. Anuschka is a passionate chamber musician and has performed with artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Valentin Erben, Martin Beaver, Vadim Gluzman, Pablo Barragan and Boris Garlitsky. She is a scholar at the chamber music academy "Villa Musica" in Rheinland-Pfalz. Anuschka partakes regularly in the IMS Prussia Cove Masterclasses and Open Chamber Music Sessions and has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Salzburger Festspiele, the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, Rheingau Festival, and “Mit Musik Miteinander“ of Kronberg Academy. Anuschka plays on a modern viola of Bernd Hiller.
