Bethany Bobbs

Bethany Bobbs, cello (New York, NY) attends The Juilliard School with a full-scholarship awarded by the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship, where she studies with Joel Krosnick and Astrid Schween. She attended the Perlman Music Program for five years, traveling with them to Florida and Israel. Bethany has won numerous prizes, including the Lynn Harrell Competition, Adelphi Young Artists Competition, Houston Symphony Concerto Competition, and she also won an award at the National YoungArts Competition. She has performed with orchestras such as the Missouri Symphony Orchestra, Newark Symphony, Houston Symphony, Georgia Philharmonic, Yonkers Philharmonic Symphony, Delaware Symphony, Adelphi Orchestra, and Ocala Symphony, among many others. Bethany is currently a Jupiter Symphony Chamber Player, where she performs alongside professional chamber musicians at Lincoln Center. Bethany is a recipient of the Arkady Fomin Scholarship Fund. Besides performing, Bethany has been recognized by both The Strad and The ViolinChannel for using her musical talent to help others.
