Anya Wilkening, violin (Denver, Colorado) is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in violin performance at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. She currently studies with Paul Kantor, and her previous teachers include Magdalena Richter, Naoko Tanaka, and James Maurer. In addition to the Young Artists Program, she has been a participant at the Aspen Music Festival, Castleman Quartet Program, and California Summer Music. Anya is a member of the Pi Delta Phi French Honor Society, as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Past YAP musician (2012)
