Yaegy Park

Yaegy Park, violin (New York, NY), passed the Houston Young Artist Concert Audition as the youngest participant in her year. Her other prizes include third prize at the Louis Spohr International Youngn Violin Competition (Weimar, Germany), first prize at the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition, first prize at the International Russian Rotary Children's Music Competition, and Grand Prize Winner in the International Virtuoso Competition and the Hawum Chamber Competition (Hawum, Korea). Through these honors, she was invited to perform with the Moscow Symphony and Hawum Chamber Orchestras at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall and Merkin Concert Hall, among others. She has performed with pianist Christopher O’Riley on the NPR’s “From the Top” where she was selected for the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. Yaegy has previously attended the Aspen Music Festival, and has studied with Catherine Cho at The Juilliard School’s pre-college division since 2010.
