Daniel Hass, cello (Toronto, Canada), studies with David Hetherington at the Young Artist Performance Academy of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. His previous teachers include Michael Bezem and Zvi Plesser. Daniel has performed as a soloist with the Ashdod Chamber Orchestra , Israel Camerata Orchestra, Toronto Sinfonietta, Orchestra Toronto, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. He currently serves as the principal cellist of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Academy Chamber Orchestra of the Royal Conservatory. In previous years, Daniel has attended the Perlman Music Program, where he studies with Ronald Leonard and Paul Katz, and he has participated in masterclasses with Andres Diaz, Timothy Eddy, Peter Thiemann, Janos Starker, and Leon Fleisher, among others.
