General Admission Festival Concerts

Our general admission ticket price is $40 per person.

Yellow Barn values all audience members and will make efforts to accommodate all circumstances. A certain number of reduced-priced tickets are made available for each concert. Contact us at info@yellowbarn.org or (802) 387-6637 for more information about our “pay what you can” policy. Additionally, unclaimed tickets are released at the concert start time.

Audience members can also purchase tickets for others as gifts, or return tickets that they are unable to use so that we can give them to those who are not able to afford the full price of admission.

The actual cost of a Yellow Barn Festival Concert is $150 or more per audience member. If you are able to pay more than $40 for your ticket, please consider adding a donation to your order. All summer gifts contribute to keeping future Yellow Barn concerts affordable.

Free Concerts

Young Artists Program Concerts are free with optional donation.

Thursday Festival Concerts are free in memory of Putney resident and audience member Eva Mondon. Thank you to community members and local businesses who make this series possible. If you would like to contribute to future community concerts, please contact Catherine Stephan at (802) 387-6637 or catherine@yellowbarn.org.

Thursday nights are side-by-side concerts, when audience members are welcome to sit in the musicians’ loft, and musicians sit among audience members on the floor.

To reserve tickets for any of our free concerts, please send an email to info@yellowbarn.org and indicate the concert ticket(s) that you would like to reserve (maximum 4 per concert).

The Big Barn

All concerts and masterclasses take place at the Big Barn in Putney, Vermont. Yellow Barn's concert venue is located on Main Street in downtown Putney, Vermont, just off Exit 4 of I91.

A post-and-beam performance hall constructed in 2002, on the site of the former Putney Nursery, the Big Barn’s intimacy comes not only from its size (80 seats for our public audience), but also from the presence of an equal number of Yellow Barn musicians. This listening together creates an incomparable experience for every performance in every concert.

The Big Barn offers comfortable seating and air-conditioning, and is handicapped accessible. Should you have special requirements, including those related to hearing or visual impairment, please contact Yellow Barn prior to your visit and we will do our best to address your needs.

For Assistance with Your Order

Please contact us at info@yellowbarn.org or call us (802) 387-6637.

While we do not issue refunds, you may exchange your tickets for another concert, return your tickets for Yellow Barn’s “pay what you can” program, or give them directly to someone else.

All programs are subject to change.
