Tyler Neidermayer, bass clarinet (New York, NY) is an active soloist and collaborative chamber musician within NYC, dedicated to consistently presenting new works for clarinet, bass clarinet and live electronics. His electro-acoustic trio Apply Triangle recently presented concerts across eastern Germany, bringing three new works written by New York-based composers to the 2019 SinusTon Electronic Music Festival in Magdeburg, Germany this past October. He is also a member of Quintilia, a cutting edge quintet focused on inclusive and improvisatory music, and recently became the clarinetist and sound technician for Blackbox Ensemble. Upcoming projects for 2020 include a tour of the northeast United States with Quintilia this June, a featured performance at the Greenlight New Music Festival with Apply Triangle this coming October, and multiple performances throughout New York City with Blackbox Ensemble. He plans to release his self-produced debut EP this summer which will feature new works that he has collaborated with emerging composers on within the last two years. He will be graduating from the Contemporary Performance Program at the Manhattan School of Music this May and currently holds a B.M. in Music Performance from Northern Arizona University.
