Zenas Hsu, violin (San Jose, CA), is a founding artist of Chamber Music by the Bay, and concertmaster of Phoenix, a Boston chamber orchestra ensemble. He has performed as a guest member of A Far Cry, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Zenas was a student of Wei He at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and attended Music@Menlo Chamber Music Institute, the New York String Orchestra Seminar, and the Hotchkiss Summer Portals. He received his BM from the Curtis Institute of Music under Ida Kavafian, and received both his MM and Graduate Diploma degrees from New England Conservatory, where he studied with Nicholas Kitchen and Donald Weilerstein.
